Nigerian Women Set to Benefit from Transformational Initiative
In a groundbreaking move to foster women’s economic empowerment and drive sustainable development, Nigeria’s First Lady and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has officially launched the North Central Zone Women’s Empowerment Programme.
This initiative is designed to uplift 18,500 women across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, starting with 500 beneficiaries from each state in the North Central Zone. The program aims to provide women with essential tools and resources to establish or expand their businesses, promoting economic self-sufficiency and national development.

The Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), in partnership with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs), has developed this empowerment program to directly benefit women at the grassroots level. Today, we are providing women with essential tools such as deep-chest freezers, gas cookers with ovens, generators, and industrial grinding machines to enable them to build successful businesses. This initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes inclusivity, economic growth, and sustainable development for all Nigerians.”
