About the WIPO Young Experts Program

The WIPO Young Experts Program (YEP) is a highly competitive 2-year initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of young professionals in the IP field. Through this program, 10 selected individuals will work directly on WIPO’s key initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in both the technical and strategic aspects of IP. This experience will empower them to contribute to the economic growth and innovation ecosystems of their home countries.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the WIPO Young Experts Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Maximum age of 35 years
• A university degree
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Knowledge of intellectual property, innovation, or creativity

The program is open to professionals from all fields.

Benefits
